Salk-armchair is a design belong to Salk collection of District Eight Design. In this design the wooden and concrete part were used as the same as the other product of the collection. My duty was create a upholstery component that define the armchair shape.

The shape is pretty simple and nothing much to say but the hard-part is dealing with technical issue in foam wrapping, stitching and fabric covered.

First we use 3 component for backrest and armrest but it soon became a challenging for production and assembly. Then we just simply combine 3 part in 1, the problem doesn't disappear in making but it total disappear in customer view.
